It is even hard to think it's possible to settle as the human history itself was the history of war. though the world has achieved the most cooperative and connected society ever, some regions of the earth are still suffering from the war and conflict. lots of organization throughout the world has strived for the cessation of conflicts, none of them succeeded until now. However, HWPL(Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) is renowned as the one who got the key for peace.
the chariman of HWPL, Manhee Lee, the old veteran of Korean war(1950-1953), between the north korea and south korea, has seen all the tragedy caused by the war, for istance, the massacre, deaths of youths, orphans and so on. so he always insists that the most prestigious legacy for next generations would be the cessation of war and fulfillment of peace. he and HWPL, with two wings 'IWPG(International women's peace group) and 'IPYG(International Peace Youth Group), has already solved the conflicts of Mindanao, philippine, which lasted for 40 years. the people from Mindanao appreciated the chair man Lee for putting end to the war that distressed them for a long time.

this summer he visited Africa to participate to summit held in Johannesburg, South Africa to state the importance of peace in African society and to urge the African leaders to achieve peace.
In addition, while addressing more than 500 people including representatives of UN, he urged the Ambassadors to implement the International laws for peace and also put an emphasis on the roles of journalist in the matter of peace.
