Do you know that there exists a group of youth for peace embodiment?
Though the young people living in the 1st world
such as europe and north america, is not that
interested in the matter of war and peace, for the
ones who live in the area suffering from the conflicts,
it is such an urgent matter that any other problems.
especially for the young people, they must have a fear of
being used as a tool for war by the government.
Some youths from Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Madagascar
and the Democratic Republic of Congo urge SADC
(Southern African Development Community ) to achieve
peace and pledge themselves to remain active for the
achievement of peace. some of these young people are
the member of IPYG, The International Peace Youth Group.
not only they work for the cessation of a compulsary manpower draft,
they also advocate for the adoption of DPCW(the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) by the heads of the states around the world.
It is surprising that the head of HWPL, affiliated organization with IPYG,
is the old veteran of korean war, which was one of the cruellest war of contemporary.
